VOLUNTEER TO HELP WITH GUMBY'S WEEKEND:
SUNDAY, JULY 9TH
Planning and executing a large 2-day event is not possible without our volunteers. We cannot thank you enough for giving your time to make this happen. It takes almost 200 volunteers to pull off a large event like this and we are so grateful for those that come back year after year to help support Gumby's.
Below is the link to sign-up for Gumby's Weekend on July 8 & 9, 2023 at Meadow Sports Complex on Johnston Drive. There is a separate sign-up includes volunteer opportunities for Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9, please verify the date for the slot you are registering for. The list is long so scroll all the way to the bottom to check for all opportunities.
There will be a VOLUNTEER tent on site at the event. Check-in before you begin your shift to receive instructions and directions for where you need to go.
For those volunteering for the 5K Glow Run/Walk:
If you sign-up as a route guide or at Water Station please note that after all participants have passed your location, you are free to come back to Meadow Lanes North to drop off your vest & cheer sticks and leave. There are a few of the locations where participants will pass you two times. Most of these are at the beginning of the route as the participants double back on East Park View Lane, Reed Avenue, Ash Ave and Daisy Drive to the finish line. It is possible to have only one person at a Route Guide location, but it is always more fun with 2, so feel free to ask a friend to join you. Please bring a lawn chair and bug spray if you are out on the route.
